I took my Japanese clients here. I am used to expensive dinners being in an ad agency, but this was quite an incredible dining experience. We started with a simple course of appetizers, but the highlight was the live seafood menu, which I and the younger clients--especially women--enjoyed thoroughly. Jenny, one of the staff at Heat, was very helpful in guiding us. We ordered prawns and flounder live. They filet the fish before it is brought to the table, but it is still alive--kinda cruel, but soooo fresh! The prawns, honestly, were still squirming on ice when they came to the table. We had to twist off the head to kill them, before eating the tail. One of the Japanese girls showed me how! The flounder's lips opened and closed as we carved out its innards for consumption--sounds gory, but it was delicious! I am going there again next month with my boyfriend.
